Removal to the Van Maerlant Building

AIACE International finally moved to new premises on 22 June 2022.

The new address is: bâtiment VM18, office 3/13, at 18, rue Van Maerlant. This is a good building, well located, as this photograph shows. Apart from its closeness to the buildings of the EESC, the Committee of the Regions and the Council, it is also very close to Maalbeek metro station. and Schuman railway station.

It is next door to the Central Library and the Van Maerlant chapel (there used to be a convent on the same site), an interdenominational space for meditation or prayer.

And to complete this brief tour of our new home, it is very close to the House of European History, the little Parc Léopold and the very lively Place Jourdan, which is full of cafés and restaurants of all nationalities and – a very important point – the best chip shop in Brussels.
